Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients:

Boiling the peppers will tame the jalapenos in this recipe. Even the most sensitive taste buds will love these stuffed peppers after the 10 minute boiling time. For hot pepper lovers, boil only 5 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut jalapeno pepper in half lengthwise, remove seeds, and membranes. Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes (see comment above). Drain well and dry on paper towels. In medium mixing bowl, stir cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined. Place one heaping teaspoon of cheese mixture in each pepper half, and sprinkle with bacon. Place on baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Makes 50 appetizers.
