Snap off the tops of the beans. Melt butter in a skillet, add the beans and cook them over medium-high heat, stirring until they begin to brown

Lower the heat, cover and cook 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the beans are desired tenderness.

Mix in the crushed garlic, sprinkle with salt and serve immediately
